Terri Bowen – L.I.D.T.A Bt. T. Th. LD

Terri started dancing at the age of 4 in Rochester, Kent. Terri entered many dance competitions, successfully passed exams, Teachers exams and attended a full-time Dance School in London. Her Professional career started at the age of 19 with dance contracts in Tenerife, South Africa, South Korea, Portugal, Summer Seasons, Pantomimes, a member of Dougie Squires 2nd Generation and a Musical – “No No Nanette” with the late Noele Gordon. Terri is even on a South African Postage Stamp. Quodos Productions asked her to become a choreographer for their productions but she turned it down and joined the SS Canberra, P&O Cruises as Head Dancer where she worked for 5 years in one of the only and original Stadium Theatre Company at Sea. In 1991 she returned to “dry land” and formed the Terri Jayne Theatre Arts.

Nicola Bowen – LIDTA BT, F. AIDTA T, MJ, TC. Acrobatic Arts M2, DTLLS, DDI BT, T, M

Nicola Graduated from Italia Conti Arts Centre in July 2013, having previsouly been a pupil at the school since the age of 2 and a half. She has taken dance exams at Major level in both IDTA and ISTD and has also gained her Ballet, Tap and Modern ISTD Dipolma in Dance Instruction. Since Graduating Nicola has worked for Merlin Entertainment, BBC Children in Need, Jonathan Heaven Productions, 5 Star Live and Warner Leisure Hotels as Dance Captain on the Isle of Wight. While dancing for Warners she gained her Shallow Water Aerobics qualification and Gold Certificate in Fitsteps. Nicola now teaches all dance genres and ages at the school including Acrobatic Arts. Nicola is a fully qualified member of the IDTA holding 4 Diploma's with Distinction and 2 Licentiates with Distinction.

Melissa Angove – HND, FDI, Acrobatic Arts M1

Melissa graduated from ‘Performers College’ in Essex as a qualified teacher with the I.S.T.D. Melissa has worked professionally on UK tours, pantomime, corporate events and on several exclusive cruise ships as a dancer/aerialist. Whilst onboard, Melissa also held the roles of company manager and dance captain for several years. Furthermore, Melissa has also choreographed for several shows overseas. Melissa teaches all ages within the school and has won awards for her choreography.

Kelsey Hockerday

Kelsey Hockerday is our Street Dance and Commercial Teacher for our Senior classes on Thursdays. Kelsey has been teaching for 7 years and has an Associate Diploma in Performing Arts in Street Dance which is currently one of the highest street dance teaching qualifications in the UK!
